This isn't a brand that started with a plan. We started with a problem we couldn't ignore, and here we are.
We are a family-run company producing small batches based on radically simple ingredients that turn into radically simple products.
We use and enjoy our own products. We hope you do too.
We started reading labels.
After two miscarriages, my wife Sarah changed everything — her diet, her lifestyle, the products in our home. We became the couple who read every label at the grocery store. We learned quickly that what goes in your body matters. It took us a little longer to ask the same question about what goes on it.
Two daughters. Twenty ingredients we couldn't pronounce.
We had our girls — now 6 and 3 — and every sunny day became a negotiation between protection and trust. We'd spray them down with sunscreen that had 20+ ingredients and cringe. We were protecting them from getting burnt while putting a chemistry lab on their faces. It didn't make sense.
So we made it ourselves.
We went back to first principles. What does a face sun stick actually need? A UV filter. A nourishing base. A carrier for smooth application. That's it. Non-nano zinc oxide, grass-fed tallow, coconut oil.
Three ingredients. That's it.
There’s nothing better than being out in the sun. We’re at our best when we’re outdoors and staying active—whether that means walking, hiking, biking, playing soccer, or just finding any excuse to get moving.
We don't slather Moomee on for a 10-minute walk. We do apply before soccer practice, the playground, the beach — anywhere where we'll be outside long enough to burn.
Radically Simplicity
The sunstick is where it started. The lip balms were our second products. Both are based on radically simple ingredients.
The Lip Balms are for Daily use. Moisturizing and Tasty, something our girls absolutely love using every single day.
Whipped Butter Balms are next. All made with simple and minimal ingredients.

Our best friends have been married for years, but somehow the two of us didn’t cross paths until much later. Once we finally did, the connection was instant.
Based right here in Indiana, Melissa brings a passion for product development, while Elwin brings years of sales and marketing experience. More importantly, we bonded over a shared conviction: food is medicine. What you fuel your body with matters—and what you put on your skin is just as vital, especially when it comes to our kids.
Frustrated by long ingredient lists packed with chemicals we couldn't pronounce, we decided to do things differently. We build radically simple skincare made from 100% grass-fed tallow and minimal ingredients you can actually trust. Proudly made in Indiana, from our families to yours.
